- توفى أبوه وهو طفل وكانت له ضيعة ولكنه تركها وأتجه الى الاستاذ أبوعلي الدقاق المتصوف فدله على تعلم العلوم فقرأ على ابن فورك وغيره من العلماء في زمانه الى أن أنتهت اليه رئاسة الصوفية في زمنه.

al-Qūšayrī addresses the Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad in the sky. He defends the idea that the prophet ascended both by his body and soul which is the Ṣūfī's position. He rejects claiming that th Al-Qūšayrī addresses the Ascension of the Prophet Muhammad in the sky. He defends the idea that the prophet ascended both by his body and soul which is the Ṣūfī's position. He rejects claiming that the prophet ascended by his soul only, let alone claiming that the event did not take place altogether. al-Qūšayrī highlights narrated reports which describe the details of the event. Moreover, he refers to what Ṣūfīs said and highlighted what the prophet had been specifically endowed with in the night of the ascension. Finally, he addresses the Laṭāʿf of the night; and acknowledges the disagreement on the vision of God.
