This book is on general jurisprudence. Averroes meant by this book to conclude the different legal opinions of the common jurisprudential topics; such as the physical purity (ṭahāra), the prayer (ṣalāh), Alms (zakāh), inheritance (mawārīṯ) ,etc. In every disputed matter, Averroes reports the different legal opinions with the supporting evidence and arguments, in a simplified, yet comprehensive, style. As the title of the book tells, it is intermediate in terms of elaborations on every topic. It is neither a too abridged legal text nor it is a too elaborate one. |
