| Summary |
It's about a subtle discipline of the Qur'anic disciplines which is "ʿilm al-naqṭ" which is the principles of adding dots to the Arabic letters (which was without dots before scholars attempted to put them to differentiate between similarly looking letters in the Arabic scribe) and how to recite them in the different authentic narrations (Qirā'āt) . The author started with an introduction about the history of developing this system and how was the case before developing it and some other topics related to the divisions of the Muṣḥaf. |
