This book includes the second part of a manuscript preserved in the library of El Escorial. The first part of the manuscript includes three works of Averroes that were printed many times. These are 'Faṣl al-Maqāl', 'Ḍamīma fī aʿilm al-Ilāhī' and 'Manāhij al-Adilla fī ʿaqāʾid al-Milla.' On the other side, the second part, that is included in this print, was rarely referred to. It includes multiple unrelated articles; such as two responses to the Fārābī's books 'al-Burhān' and 'al-ʿIbāra', a response to the seventh and eighth treatises of Aristotle's book 'al-Samāʿ al-Ṭabīʿī', and some comments on the standpoints of Avicenna and Themistius.
