  • حافظ، عالم باللغة والسير، ضرير. ولد في مالَقة، وعَمِيَ وعمره 17 سنة. نبغ واتصل خبره بصاحب مراكش، فطلبه إليه وأكرمه، فأقام يصنف كتبه إلى أن توفي بها. نسبته إلى سهيل (من قرى مالقة).
